Mi chiamo Diana Crestan e sono una fotografa autodidatta, conosciuta soprattutto per immagini di natura e di paesaggio sia naturale che storico.
Mi appassiono all’arte fotografica giovanissima e inizio a lavorare come matrimonialista.
Tuttavia l'amore per la natura mi porta inevitabilmente verso la fotografia naturalistica.
Trovo ispirazione soprattutto dalle immagini dei grandi fotografi di paesaggio statunitensi contemporanei. Le fotografie di ampi scenari americani hanno sempre colpito la mia fantasia. Fotografo, a seconda del momento, in modo naturale quasi istintivo per non lasciarmi sfuggire l’unicità dell’attimo che la luce mi regala; ma anche in modo più ponderato, premeditato, per ottenere con attenzione e studio l’immagine
che desidero dalla scena.
Da alcuni anni mi dedico alla creazioni di multivisioni, video formati dalla dissolvenza delle immagini sincronizzate con la musica.
- 1992 inizio la carriera come matrimonialista presso un importante studio del pordenonese
- 2002 l'incontro con l'AFNI ( Associazione Fotografi Naturalisti Italiani). sono stata responsabile della sezione FVG e membro del Consiglio Direttivo.
- 2012 inizio la collaborazione con la casa editrice Daniele Marson Editore, specializzata in libri fotografici di alta qualità.
- 2014 co- organizzatrice del concorso internazionale di fotografia naturalistica: www.biophotocontest.com
Da diversi anni mi occupo anche di fotografia di viaggio, turistica e di paesaggio e collaboro con diverse agenzie fotografiche.
Ho pubblicato sulla rivista Asferico e su libri quali : Dove l'aria sale, Luci e silenzi, Sinfonia di colori.
Alcune immagini fanne parte di collezioni private.

My name is Diana Crestan and I'm a self-taught photographer, known for images of nature and landscape natural and historical.
I became passionate about photographic art at a very young age and began working as a wedding photographer.
However, the love for nature inevitably leads me towards nature photography. I find inspiration above all from the images of the great contemporary American landscape photographers. Photographs of large American scenarios have always struck her imagination.
I photograph, depending on the moment, in a natural and almost instinctive way so as not to miss the uniqueness of the moment that the light gives me; but also in a more thoughtful, premeditated way, to obtain the image with attention and study from the scene. For some years I create multimediashow, videos formed by the fading of images synchronized with music.
For several years I have also been involved in travel, tourist and landscape photography and collaborates with various photo agencies. I have published in the magazine Asferico and in books such as: Where the air rises, Lights and silences, Symphony of colors.
Some images are part of private collections.

- 1992 I began my career as a matrimonialist at an important studio in the Pordenone area
- 2002 meeting with AFNI (Italian Naturalist Photographers Association). I was in charge of the FVG section and member of the Board of Directors.
- 2012 begins the collaboration with the publishing house Daniele Marson Editore, specialized in high quality photographic books.
- 2014 co-organizer of the international nature photography competition: www.biophotocontest.com
